I think people forget that they can do anything they want with their lives. They forget that they control their own happiness, that they themselves control their own fate. Every day I walk down those halls at MHS, or go to work and I see people who have just settled. People who just think they are stuck, so stuck that they have given up.
I just hold it in. I don’t say anything because after all these words I type are way different when I say them in person. But people just need to realize that life is just fantastic, and what is wrong with being enthusiastic?
I can never go a day without thinking about my ukulele, Julia Nunes, or that simple smile my dad gives me every morning when I wake up.
I just want everyone to have that one smile so that they can realize how in control they truly are.
